In a continued effort to provide information to help protect local residents, Better Business Bureau (BBB) will offer a free program entitled, “Identity Theft—Don’t Let Bad Things Happen to Your Good Name.” The program will take place Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm at The Adult Center of Prescott, 1280 East Rosser Street in Prescott.

“Identity theft can cost you time and money—this free program provides information on how to protect your good name and identity,” said Mary Hawkes, BBB Yavapai County branch Director. “The program will cover common ways identity theft happens, steps to deter identity theft, signs that your identity might be compromised, and what to do if your identity has been stolen.”

This free program is open to the public.
