New BBB Contest Gives Your Company
“90 Seconds to Shine”
What is it?
Every business has something unique, corky, and fun that helps to make up its company culture. The question is can you share it in 90 seconds?
BBB’s ‘90 Seconds to Shine’ social media video campaign is an opportunity for your business to share a snapshot of its company culture with the world.
Below are two examples of “90 Seconds to Shine” video ideas:
Still not sure what to show and tell in 90 seconds? Consider these questions:
- What is something most people don’t know about your company? Your office? Your staff? Your history?
- Does someone have an unusual job description or title?
- Does your company have any unique traditions, superstitions, mascots or team building activities?
- Does your company have a theme song, cheer or jingle?
- What makes you unique from your competition?
As with any contest, there are some procedures that need to be followed, check them out below:
'90 Seconds to Shine" Contest Rules:
Am I eligible to enter?
- Participants must be a current BBB Accredited Business in our service area (Central, Northern or Western Arizona).
- Only one video submitted per company.
- Video submitted must be 90 seconds or less
- Videos that use profanity or material deemed inappropriate by BBB will be disqualified.
How do I enter?*
Recording a video is easy and can be recorded with a cell phone, camera or camcorder. The videos should be about a unique or funny aspect of your business and submitted with little to no editing. Videos must be uploaded to BBB between Tuesday, July 14 and Tuesday, August 3 by 5 p.m. Once uploaded, your video will be posted on our Facebook page within 48 hours. *Videos will be posted in order of receipt.
How does my company win?
Voting takes place on BBB’s Facebook page from July 14- August 9.
1. Individuals must “like” BBB’s Facebook page to vote www.facebook.com/azbbbnews
2. Vote by clicking on the thumbs up “like” option next to the video.
3. Voters can only ‘like’ a video once but are encouraged to “like” other videos as well.
What do I get if I win?
The video with the most ‘likes’ wins! The winner will have the opportunity to have a company representative featured in rotation on BBB’s homepage for one month as well as four Arizona Diamondback tickets.
The winning video will be announced in the August 3rd BBB Weekly and on BBB’s social media sites. Good luck!
