New BBB Board Leadership Announced for 2010

The Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB) has elected five Arizona leaders to its 2010 Executive Committee.

Lee Scanzano, Vice President of Customer Care Operations at Cox Communications, has accepted the position of 2010 Board Chair. Carlos Pacheco, Executive Vice President for Desert Schools will serve as vice-chair. Rick Dircks, Executive Vice President for Dircks Moving + Logistics + Real Estate, has accepted the position as treasurer, while Mary Hall, Chief Operating Officer at Take Charge America will serve as secretary. Peggy Baker, Manager of Commercial Customer Services at SRP, remains on the committee as Immediate Past Chair.

“Each board member and the insights they provide about their industries, experiences and expectations are of great value to our organization. They truly help shape our Better Business Bureau into what it should be in today’s challenging marketplace,” BBB President/CEO Matthew Fehling said.

BBB is a non profit organization established locally in 1938. In 2009, it provided over 2 million company reports to consumers via web and telephone and processed over 35,000 complaints.
